Privacy Policy
HomeWise minimizes the information it collects and uses it to provide requested guidance and services.
Mobile phone information
HomeWise stores only the phone information needed for verification, security, fraud prevention, account recovery, and important account notices. Verified numbers are stored as a protected one-way value together with the last four digits.
HomeWise does not display full phone numbers after verification, does not sell phone numbers, and does not treat verification consent as marketing consent. Marketing consent is separate and is never required to create an account.
HomeWise maintains records of verification date and time, verification method, phone-change activity, recovery activity, terms version, consent record, security events, and administrator decisions. Verification and security records are retained while the account is active and for a limited period afterward for fraud prevention and dispute resolution, then deleted. A homeowner may request deletion of their account and associated records by writing to homewise@homewiseadvocate.com.
Information used
HomeWise may process contact details, project descriptions, documents, photographs, and service records that a homeowner chooses to provide.
Information not required
Do not upload Social Security numbers, banking information, full payment-card information, driver’s-license numbers, insurance passwords, claim-portal credentials, or mortgage account numbers.
Documents and AI
HomeWise does not sell customer documents or use one homeowner’s private documents to answer another homeowner’s questions. Selected information may be processed by designated technology providers to deliver requested AI-assisted features.
Payments and security
When payments become available, the designated payment provider will process payment information. HomeWise will not directly store full card numbers or security codes. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
